The Selection Rounds consist of Oral Rounds and an International Written Round.
The Oral Rounds
The Oral Rounds take the form of Regional Rounds, being either ELSA or non-ELSA Regional Rounds. A Regional Round is a round aimed at qualifying teams for the Final Oral Round of the EMC².
Please note that the deadline for payment of a Regional Round Team Participation Fee is Monday, 5th December 2011. The deadline for payment of an Addditional Persons Fee is to be negotiated with the individual Regional Round Organiser.
All Registered Teams and Additional Persons attending a Regional Round are required to provide the specific Regional Round Organiser with its Team Confirmation Form. This document contains the specific travel information required by each Regional Round Organiser in order to make the necessary logistical arrangements for the competition. Furthermore, each individual Participant travelling to a Regional Round is responsible for ascertaining if he/she nees a visa to travel to the stated destination. If a visa is necessary, the Participant must contact the RRO co-ordinator immediately to request an Invitaiton Letter in order to commence the visa process.

International Written Round
The Written Round of the EMC² serves to select teams for the Final Oral Round where selection through an Oral Round shall not apply.
ELSA National Rounds
ELSA International allows ELSA National Groups to organise National Rounds of the EMC². The winning teams of the ELSA National Rounds then proceed to an ELSA Regional Round thereby having thepossibility to qualify for the Final Oral Round of the EMC².
