Competition Fees: the Competition Fees for the teams shall consist of two parts: ELSA Registration Fee and RR Participation Fee, due by Friday, 29th January 2010.
1. ELSA Registration Fee*: EMC² non-refundable Registration Fee – Euro 300 per team.
*The Registration Fee must be transferred directly to ELSA International.
2. Team Participation Fee: USD$ 1.200,00 (one thousand two hundred US Dollars) per team (5 people). Extra per person costs USD$300 - subject to application to CESA and availability.
The Participation Fee includes*:
- Accommodation at the Ibis Paulista Hotel** - four (4) nights
Check-in: Tuesday, 2nd March 2010
Check-out: Saturday, 6th March 2010
- Welcome Ceremony (includes drinks and canapés) – Tuesday, 2st March 2010
- Awards Ceremony (includes drinks and canapés) – Friday, 5th March 2010
- Transfers – Hotel/University/Hotel - 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th March 2010
- Meals as follows: Breakfast – 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th March 2010
* Please note that social programs are not included in the cost
** The Hotel may change due to the number of participants. Hotel Accommodation will only be provided for students from outside of São Paulo.
Each Latin America and the Caribbean Regional Round Team is required to pay direct to CESA the above Participation, by the deadline date listed in Appendix A – Competition Timeline (Friday, 29th January 2010) and as per the following bank transfer details:
According to the rule 4.1.1.4 of The Rules of the EMC2 2009-2010, teams are responsible for any bank fees when transferring the Participation Fee to a Regional Round Organizer.

As per Rule 4.1.1.3, the ELSA International Registration Fee is non-refundable. However per Rule 4.1.1.4 the Regional Round Organizer has the discretion to refund a Participation Fee upon application in writing by a Registered Team.
Cancellations: Cancellations must be communicated in writing (via mail, fax or email) to ELSA International and the Latin America and Caribbean Round Coordinator.
Cancellations received four weeks prior to the event will be refunded in full, less 25% administration costs. No Participation Fee refunds will be made after 15th February 2010 other than in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the Latin America and Caribbean Round Coordinator.
