PARTICIPATION FEE INFORMATION

A team intending to participate in the Final Oral Round of the 2009-2010 EMC² Competition is required to pay a per person Participation Fee as per the Appendix A - Competition Timeline.

 

1)      Team Member Participation Fee* – Euros €100.00/USD $150.00 per person / per night

 

*The Participation Fee is only applicable to the Registered Team Members and one Registered Team Academic Advisor or Coach (maximum 5 persons) as per the information which was entered via the EMC² electronic Team Registration Form and to be confirmed in the FOR Team Confirmation Form.

 

2)      Additional Person FOR Participation Fee – Euros €150.00/USD $220.00 per person / per night

 

*Team supporters are welcome to attend the event but are subject to pay the Additional Person Participation Fee. Furthermore attendance is subject to availability.  Please contact the International Organising Secretariat for arrangements.

 

3)      The FOR Participation Fees includes:

i)     Accommodation at the Clarion International Hotel - Six (6) nights (Wi-Fi Included)

·  Check-in:         Monday, 24th May 2010

·  Check-out:       Sunday, 30th May 2010**

ii)     Welcome Ceremony (includes drinks and canapés) – Monday, 24th May 2010

iii)    Awards Ceremony (includes dinner) – Saturday, 30th May 2010

iv)    Meals as follows:

·  Breakfast – 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th May 2010

·  Lunch – 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th May 2010

·  Dinner – 26th, 28th and 29th May 2010

v)      Celebration Party – Saturday (night from Saturday to Sunday), 29th  May 2010

vi)     Transfers as follows:

·   Hotel/Conference/Hotel Transfers

·   Celebration Party Transportation

vii)    Admission to the EMC² International Academic Conference “Regional Trade Agreements: The Fragmentation of International Trade Law”.

·   Lunch and Coffee Breaks Included (Printed Conference Materials – not included)

4)      The FOR Participation Fee Exclusions:

i)       Transportation from the Airport to the Clarion International Hotel

·      Airport Taxi costs approximately USD 30,00

ii)      Transportation from the Clarion International Hotel to the Airport

   ·     Airport Taxi costs approximately USD 30,00

 

**If you require accommodation on additional days, please contact the IOS to secure your additional night’s accommodation

Each Final Oral Round Team is required to pay direct to COLADIC-RD the above FOR Participation Fee, by the deadline date listed in Appendix A – Competition Timeline (Monday, 10th May 2009) as per the bank transfer details indicated in the FOR 2010 Santo Domingo Participation Fee document.

Please note that any financial services transfer fees incurred are in addition to the Participation Fees and must be paid by the Team. We are aware that some banks charge a fee at both the sending end as well as the receiving end. Therefore, we highly recommend that you ask your bank for the ‘total’ service fees before you transfer any funds. If COLARIDC-RD are charged the financial services transfer fees, the respective team will be advised and such funds must be paid to COLADIC-RD upon registration in Santo Domingo.
