The Selection Rounds consists of Oral Rounds and an International Written Round.
The Oral Rounds
The Oral Rounds take the form of Regional Rounds, being either ELSA or non-ELSA Regional Rounds. The Regional Round is the round aimed at qualifying teams for the Final Oral Round of the EMC².
The location and dates for the Regional Rounds of the 8th edition of EMC2 are as follows:
ELSA Regional Rounds:

International Written Round
The Written Round of the EMC² serves to select teams for the Final Oral Round where the selection through an Oral Round shall not apply.
ELSA National Rounds
ELSA International allows ELSA National Groups to organise National Rounds of the EMC². The winning teams of the ELSA National Rounds then proceed to an ELSA Regional Round to have the possibility to qualify for the Final Oral Round of the EMC².
